GGA has completed the process of conformity clearance with the Green Public Procurement (GPP).
The Green Public Procurement (GPP) concerns the environmental requirements for the different phases of the purchase process, that identify the best design solution, product or service for the environment across the life-cycle, taking into consideration the availability of the market; they are defined by the plan for the environmental sustainability of consumption by the public administration.
Their application allows to promote environmental technologies and the products environmentally preferable and produce a leverage effect on the market, leading the economic operators less virtuous to be in line with the new requirements of the public administration.
In addition to the enhancement of the environmental quality and to the respect of the social criteria, the application of the Green Public Procurement (GPP) answers to the requirements of the public administration to rationalize the consumption reducing, wherever possible, the costs.
